[Sirus]

Darwyn shook himself out of his little reverie and gave the two an apologetic smile. He then read the note out loud.

[Nerjin]

"Hm... Well... I guess there could be worst things to do. But... I'll do what you guys want."

[Flying Dice]

"I've little else to do with myself here, and if you're all going..."

[Sirus]

"Well...if it weren't my grandfather's request I would probably stay. But I guess I will go. After all, the ocean is full of life just as the land is, so I suppose I could perform my duties out there just as well as I could here."

[Nerjin]

"Marina would be happier at sea than land at any rate I would imagine. I suppose we could set sail now if we wished. Just need to wait for those other louts to show up."

[Flying Dice]

"Where are Ness and Geg, anyhow? The little guy's probably reading that big book of his like always, but what about the lass?"

[Sirus]

Darwyn shrugged.
"Perhaps they haven't heard yet. Should we go get them?"

[Nerjin]

"I say we split up. I'll go with whichever group doesn't get Gig."

[Flying Dice]

"Might be better to wait for them, or we'll be running around in circles looking for each other."

[Nerjin]

"That's my plan Beolas. The more time we spend looking for Gig and the more time he spends looking for us the less time we spend together."

[Sirus]

Darwyn shrugged. He didn't care much either way.

[Nerjin]

"I swear, if he says something cheerful or gloats about some new spell I'm going to hurt him. I'll inflict so many minor wounds he'll die from it." Sacha said in annoyance. Her disdain for the cheerful gnome was well known around both islands.

[Sirus]

"You're just as capable a spellcaster as he is," Darwyn pointed out mildly. "So am I, for that matter."

[Nerjin]

"I know. But he's just so annoying. I mean, I swear he has the charismatic power of Rope Weed or something." Sacha said with a shrug.

[Sirus]

The druid carefully concealed a smile. It was certainly true that the young gnome had the social grace of an irritable skunk! Still, even by human standards he was immature in most ways but his magical abilities could not be denied.
