But on a more serious note, the games that need action from GWG need to be handled, so how do we do it? Do we retcon him out where we can? Do we bring someone else in to replace him where we can't retcon?

Trouble is that his character was essential for one of our player-run plots. We're discussing how to deal with it for now, however.

I think the best thing is to Rocks Fall him if possible, really. Retconning tends to be messy, and replacements would mess up the characters' tones and would have to read the threads first.

Well, I'll get right on it for the games I can. The main issue here I'm having is just that his character is needed for a plot that was set up ages prior. We can handle it, but thanks for the advice.

There's a reason GWG is top poster on the forum by such a wide margin. Crapload of posts in there. Note also that Neonivek is the most prolific poster who doesn't post in FG&RP, but has been around for years longer than anyone above. It inflates post counts immensely.

Of course, this doesn't really mean anything except that post counts aren't a measure of anything meaningful other than... how often you post.

To some limited extent, it measures influence, but that's about it.
