Still I doubt he deserved this, a week long ban maybe, but a permanent?

That is what muting is. We have an unwritten 3 strikes rule here for more prolific posters. 3 day mute, 7 day mute, permaban. Honestly the guys been cleaned up after probably more than anyone else on the first top posters page of the members list. Unbanning has only occurred once when I was here and it was due to the fact that the event was caused by the account in question being hacked
