East Guard: "Hey, did you hear? They're moving the prisoner down to Cell Block B."
South Guard: "Really?"
East Guard: "Nah, man, I'm just messing with ya. He's still back in Cell Block A."
South Guard: "You had me freaked out for a second! I thought they might be moving him past my door, and I hate it when I have to look the Colonel in the eye. I get enough of that when he goes down to check the records."
East Guard: "I just wanted to freak you out a little. But yeah, I agree. I don't really like it when he heads down to check on the prisoners in A, either."

Well, that was convenient timing. Then again, when don't random mooks have conveniently timed "as you already know" conversations?
