Walk amongst the elves and ask if any of them have fought with my people before. (( Huh do we pack up a platoon or something or will we scatter once we reach our destination? ))

Walk amongst the elves and ask if any of them have fought with my people before.
As you walk, the crowd in front of you splits into like the sea in front of Moses, letting you pass. Al the chatter mutes, and you catch everyone's attention. Some look with curiosity, some look with fear, the only emotion you haven't found yet is boredom. Nobody's responding you, however.

"Okay, give me the cold shoulder then, I don't mind" ((Helgo isn't online, oops))

Oscar walks over to the truck with the two dwarves

"Good day to you, how are you doing?"

Go say hello to the dwarves

((Six by two, 12))

"Okay, give me the cold shoulder then, I don't mind" ((Helgo isn't online, oops))
Oscar walks over to the truck with the two dwarves
"Good day to you, how are you doing?"
Go say hello to the dwarves
- Greetings over there. Fine so far. Plenty of ammo, some money in the pocket, a truck, officer is a young and enthusiastic boy and doesn't much bothering. And you? - asks the one whose beard appears to be a bit longer. Second one nods approvingly while first is speaking, then stares at you awaiting answer as well as the first.

(( Darn rules that out. ))

Ask around to see if anyone has any ammo that would fit my guns.

"As fine as it can be. Got plenty of supplies and the truck drives like it was brand new. Officer is a vet like me, he's a bit harsh, but he means well."

Your guns catch plenty of arrogant sights, though nobody seems to respond still. A look over the weaponry those thugs carry shows no gun here uses anything even similiar to your munition.

- We figured you're vet, thanks uniforms. Me be Gwalin son of Nuradin, this is Norli, my brother.

Demand to know what peoples problem is.
First, the silence. Then, a lone voice somewhere in crowd mumbles something like "One doesn't see a dragonborn every day, especially female one". You cannot define the speaker on the spot.

"Oscar Henze, a pleasure to meet you."
- So, what's your plans on the future? I mean, once you get this thing over with, what would you do with such a sum?

- It's your being dragonborn a shock.

"...I'm not sure. Maybe I'll travel around a bit, always wanted to see a dwarven city. Or maybe give it to my brother, for his school. I hadn't actually thought about it much, really. "
