"Dye my hat!? Never!"

Sadie poked Vito in the stomach with her staff.

"I oughtta take your coat and dye it purple. It's a royal color, you know."

[Tiruin]

"Ah. Hi Amelia. I hope that lance I gave you helped?"

"It's a bit heavier than what I'm used to, but it helps prove my point a lot more! You've a really keen eye for detail and intricacy. I wonder if you were a smith before. Or an appraiser of merchandise. I like that hair."

[Swordstar]

"Ah, uh, no, nothing like that. Just... found it in the armory. And, oh, uh... thanks. Your hair's nice too? Much longer than mine."

[Lucus Casius]

"Ah, but the joke is on you!  For I am not a royal, royal as I seem."

He pats his slightly bruised stomach.

"And I fear if you poke me with that stick again, I shall be forced to snatch the hat from your head and serve it for our dessert."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Sadie stuck her tongue out at Vito, then scooted around to hide behind Amelia.

"I may be short but I can run fast! You'll never get it!"

[Lucus Casius]

"We shall see!  Accetto la sfida!"

The light-footed fencer chases after the tiny healer, laughing all the while.

[Tiruin]

Amelia spun around as Sadie used her as a living obstacle, and Vito called in for the hunt.

"Hey, hey! Not here in the cramped corridors you two! Do it in the courtyard."

She then moved up to Kindra and patted her on the shoulder.

"We couldn't have done this without you. Thanks there."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Sadie quickly dropped and crawled through Amelia's legs while she was distracted, then got to her feet and started sprinting for the outdoors.

"Let's see if those long legs of yours can keep up!"

[Lucus Casius]

"Better than you know!"

Vito opts to go over Amelia instead of underneath, hopping quite promptly onto her shoulders and kicking off after Sadie with no more than a quick  "Mi scusi!"

Sadie was having fun! All too often life was too serious and sometimes it was nice to play a friendly game of tag. She hit the partially opened door with her shoulder and skidded to lose some momentum, then turned to her left and ducked around the large wooden door. She paused momentarily while she considered hiding and seeing if Vito would run past, but she shelved it when she figured he wouldn't fall for such an easy trick. Instead she started running for the stables.

[Tiruin]

"Mmm, there's my childhood right there." Amelia said to nobody in particular as she recovered from Vito's leap. "We're in the perimeter of war and-...I thought I was too old for that."

She looked at Kindra, then at the rest of the allied soldiers (as well as Mr.GrumpyPointednose), before glancing back at the two.

"Oh who am I kidding. Sadie, get back here!" she yelled, breaking into a run towards the courtyard.

[SeriousConcentrate]

From the distance there was a reply.

"Oh, you want me too? Gotta catch me!"

The sound of Sadie's retreating voice was definitely moving in the direction of the stables.

[Lucus Casius]

"Aha!  So that's where you ran!"

Vito slid to a halt and corrected his course, running off toward the stables after Sadie.

[Powder Miner]

Pelageya looked at the others playing around and grinned, a little bit of an ingenious plan forming in her head.
She ran around behind some other walls to the other end of the stables; when Sadie had made it there, Pelageya was gonna intercept her!
:"Hehhehheh..."

Sadie entered the stables and started climbing the ladder up to the hayloft.

They'll never think to look for me in dirty place like this.
