Before the exams. There's a reason that Dorm isn't on the application form.

Just a question, are we going to be allowed to change and upgrade our deck through the game or are we just keeping the one we start with?

Meh, it's not that hard to learn. And if you're not feeling confident about your deck building skills, use a structure deck.

I was only saying that because of the frequency of dragons being used by the rivals in the Anime series.

What set of Forbidden/Restriction Rules are we using?

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

WASSUP

EDIT: Alright, I really don't remember how to build an effective deck and just looking through my mass of cards that had been shoved in a bag isn't helping. Pointers?

Changing and upgrading your deck will be allowed.

Will this be open, allowing for the exchange of any card for any other card, or having to buy from a shop?

Example purchase mechanic: Each duel gives between 1 and 10 points based on your skill weighted against your luck (if it was a more luck based, less points, more skill based, more points), with an extra 5 given for winning.  A common card would be in cost of 1 point, short print would be 10, boosters would be 15, a rare would be 20, a super rare would be 30, a ultra rare would be 40, a ultimate rare would be 50, a ghost rare would be 60, a secret rare would be 70, a gold rare would be 80.  Rarity would be how rare the card was when it first came out.  Selling back to the shop would get you half of the buying value.

Really, if it is done like that, you could put value limits (total point value of a deck cannot exceed that total) on a duel to create a challenge, like the exams only allow decks with a point value of 600 or less.
