Also, Dejavu, hwo do you know anything is happening at all, being in a scrapyard with the ability to text people?

I would also have thought the craft would have some kind of fire fighting capabilities. Ah well. We fire a few more shots around the place, board a shuttle, and coast out, mission is done and they've taken one to the teeth.

All he knows is that something exploded, most likely from whoever else he's working with (Remember that blast right at the start?). He's asking people who are closest for more info.

... why not just post them in the OOC thread? It's not like it's a great effort to find the OOC thread, and it keeps everything a lot neater.

Something exploded inside the ship, it's not clear from the outside what blew and why.

He has no way of seeing the ship from the ground, he was not informed of anything exploding.

A blast resonates through the ship. And then another, and onwards. The last blast powerful enough to throw everyone down on the cold metal floor.
Someone had to fire that at the ship. And in order to hit something being able to see it is important.

... The person who was on whatever gun had hits the ship at the beginning of the assault could see the ship (that's how they hit it), and saw the subsequent explosion. G has contact with the gunner and people in the ship, which allows the rebels to know what the later blasts were.
