After that, Winry attempts to retrieve the names of the deceased.

"Antimagic fields, only white-listed mages can use magic here, which is about the same as being allowed to carry a weapon, not brandish it about, you don't see me transforming in public do you?  It tends to frighten most people beyond reason"

As the group enters through the gates, the atmosphere changes. It was apparent that they indeed were safe now, no longer needing their guides, who stepped aside on either side of the path and bowed before running off. Tobias leads them inside to some of the guest rooms, a building separate from the main building.
