((Just as a mechanics representation question, since I'm considering just creating a stereotypical magical girl with DRACO-inspired white magic and a lot less planning so that I can use her immediately rather than when I'm less busy, but, what exactly is HP loss meant to represent?

Is it meant to represent the fact that an attack has cleaved into someone? With HP at 0 being that the combatant has been torn to shreds?
Or is it more because the wound is causing bloodloss/combustion/contamination? With HP at 0 being that the combatant the combined bloodloss from the wounds rather than the wounds themselves have brought them down?))
