((Yeah... To be honest I wasn't expecting the Nomad's AoE attack to completely wreck the tentacles. Oh well. At least it means that the plot can progress some more.))

((AoE is super good against closely bunched enemies, you should've had the tentacles come up from the edges of the portal after the first asswhipping))

Kaiser crawls into the main section of the Nomad, injecting himself with a small dose of morphine.

"Is she okay?"

Dalia seems okay, except for the whole not breathing thing. And the lack of a pulse. Probably a good idea to fix that.

Kaiser awakens some of the nanobots found in most of the group members (some purposely planted, others just there as a result of breathing in or ingesting the poor tiny things), and stimulates the appropriate nerves, effectively jump-starting her respiratory system.

Kaiser awakens some of the nanobots found in most of the group members (some purposely planted, others just there as a result of breathing in or ingesting the poor tiny things), and stimulates the appropriate nerves, effectively jump-starting her respiratory system.

To be fair to Isaac, the life support was hooked up to a wall socket and he lacked a multi-kilometre long extension cord. As such he had no choice but to unplug her.

[2] Kaiser awakens the nanobots lurking inside of Dalia's body, but they refuse to listen to his orders for some reason. Perhaps some bug in their programming prevents them from receiving further commands? How unfortunate. The nanobots resort to one of their default behaviours, exploring their environment in search of metals to construct more nanobots. Given that they're equipped with sharp drills to probe for materials, having them awake is just causing more damage to her body. If Dalia wasn't busy suffocating to death, then stopping them would be the top priority right now.

Whilst trying to regain control of the little shits, Kaiser quickly grabs a defibrillator, and uses that instead.

[4] The defibrillator works perfectly fine. However, since Dalia's heart has stopped beating and her nerves are useless without George's help, it does absolutely nothing to improve the situation.

[4] At least Kaiser manages to get the nanobots inside of Dalia's body back under control. For now.
