Tobias sighs, and goes to the shadows of the ceiling. He watches for suspicious individuals.
Linda heads outside, and climbs up to the roof, easily. She's on watch as well.

Sen gets up and follows behind Bernhardt.

Icarus looks at recordings of the evening. Who has been missing at the same time the victim has been missing?

Kaiser pulls out a firearm and heads to the crime scene.

((dammit kansa, she was the best character, noooo

oh well, I'll just have to avenge her, henderson style))

With help from the scrying Sen, Bernhardt and Kaiser would quickly find the body. The victim lay on the ground, he was bleeding from a hole in his chest and his eyes were burnt out from their sockets. It was someone who was unfamiliar to the group, spotted in the hall but not anyone really significant. People who paid close attention however would have noticed him talking to Ranil at several points in the evening. It wasn't long before the members of the group were joined by the palace guard, the person who seemed to be the captain shouted orders.
”Lock down this area, don't let anyone leave.”

Those out on watch would spot the guards slowly close off most of the entrances to the palace grounds and the palace itself. It seemed like the guards they had set up had woven a good net around the place. They would also spot the people who were not in the main hall at the time that the mysterious guest had gone missing, these people were Elliot, Titus, Karis, Ranil, Vierus and Illian.

Kaiser tries to enlist the help of the guards.

"Find any suspects and bring them back to the main hall. If they resist, use force."

He then attempts to locate Karis.

Icarus lets the scene unfold. Tobias and Bartimaeus would soon have something to report. Meanwhile, she tries to follow Illian. Being able to see through walls and single out voices from a great distance via audio editing makes stalking someone from a great distance reltaively easy.

[Kansa]

The guards looked towards their captain, he nodded and they went off to do as Kaiser had said. Meanwhile Kaiser would find Karis, she was wandering about the garden seeming slightly shaken. She gave a small wave towards Kaiser as she spotted him.

Icarus would spot Illian perched on the branch of the tree, her countenance had changed much since she had been on the dance floor now with a much more serious expression on her face. She seemed to be watching Titus who was standing in front of her, he seemed to be clutching his head as if pain.

Bartimaeus listens.

Icarus listens in, watching through a wall.

Tobias shadows Titus.
Linda runs to the bathroom, and changes into her armor,  and gets her rifle. She heads up to the highest point of the palace. Watching.

"Hey Karis. It isn't safe at the moment, so we'll talk once we get back to the hall, alright?"

"As you can see, we built the Nemesis Gate," he says while pointing to the Gate.
