Winry appears to be typing on her IRIS datapad, inside Maria's house.
   "Guys, check this out."
Suddenly a REI unit leaps through Maria's window and lands next to Winry.
   "Balls, forgot to designate the 'door' variable!"

"Standing by," the robot says in a monotone and deep vocoded voice.

Air raid sirens begin going off as the piercing sound of an explosion sounds off far away - in the direction of the Brisbane SERT base. Multiple precision beams of high-powered energy shoots from a large aircraft, multiple beams piercing the infrastructure of the building and causing it to fail. Smoke and dust plumes throughout as the building slowly collapses after everyone is safely evacuated. SERT vehicles are reporting out and firing at the other one, only to be blocked by a high-power hexagonal shield that shimmers in the air.

The SERT base generates it's own force field, returning fire with SERT anti-magic projectors, followed up by extensive laser fire. They begin to maneuver HELIOS, an orbital platform, over the aircraft, and begin to launch a pair of Dreadnoughts from a shipyard in Canberra.

Meanwhile, twilight-based teleporter infantry warp inside the aircraft in several locations, killing anything that moves inside it.

I was going to ask you anyways, since there's only a couple more days left on it, but since you're already making deals with everybody... I figure that this is easier. Plus you'll be forced to lug all of the heavy boxes down 6 flights of stairs while I laugh." The last sentence is more teasing than mean-spirited, for the record.

The teleporters find that an on-board turret system completely decimates them with blasts of energy. The ship's outer weapon seems to cease function from the anti-magic - but strangely, the rest of the ship seems to be fine. A large turret emerges from the top of the craft as it fires a blast of a black energy at the forcefield. It detonates with first a flash of white, then raw void energy as it slowly disintegrates anything not protected by the forcefield - the concrete outside begins so slowly ablate into massive plumes of hot dust as abyssal energy dissipates as its short existence ends.

    "Hehehe~! Little ants, thinking zat zey have a chance!" a feminine, sinister voice booms out from the ship's speaker.

Winry's antennas perk up.
   "Anyone else hear that?"

"It's not much. Most of the furniture I can get my grandparents to sell, it's just cheap junk from IKEA. Everything else should fit in the Nomad easily."

The teleporters move in large piles of explosives instead, fuses lit, timers primed, and activation spells cast. The dreadnoughts, along with specialized transport crafts, are currently over Sydney, and HELIOS will take another 20 minutes to maneuver into place.



"Oh, that's good, then. S-should we go n-now, or?"

No response is heard - but for a brief moment, a shadow slips through the craft. And before they know it, the explosives are gone.
