Alice texted back to Kaiser saying that they should be able to come, she also said that she had a special announcement to give when they met up.

"Huh? How?" Dalia yells through her door. She still hasn't left her room yet.

"The m-magic of phones."

Kaiser sits against her door, nibbling on some cookies.

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh. I didn't think of that. Probably because I don't have anybody's phone numbers."

"Y-you can h-have mine, if y-you want it."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Okay. I- Oh, right. I forgot. I don't have service here, since my phone is from France and everything. That's kinda important."

Kaiser is quiet for a while, before he slides a piece of golden metal that resembles a SIM card under the door.

"T-that should work a-anywhere with satellite c-coverage."

"Thanks." There is some muffed grunting as Dalia inserts the card into her phone. "Huh. It's kinda scary how you can do stuff like this. Oh, and can you give me everyone else's numbers as well? It'll be faster than asking them one by one."

"CORE g-gives me the t-tech, as l-long as I f-fulfill his b-bloody favors...ah, y-yeah, numbers."

Kaiser texts her a list of phone numbers.


Garrett politely looks away.

Dalia grumbles as she looks over the list of numbers and adds them to her phone, "Favours like kissing?"

Kaiser blushes, although Dalia probably can't see through the door.

"Awa, uh, I-I w-won't ask y-you to do... a-anything a-about that, I'll j-just go w-without CORE's h-help for a-awhile."

He sighs in embarrassment.

Dalia sighs, "Ugh... How long is he going to be mad at you? Was it for something important?"

Kaiser starts tapping his fingers on the floor, making little tinking sounds.

"He p-probably won't h-help me again u-until... er, I a-asked him t-to stabilize Kaotaro, and he w-wasn't exactly clear o-on the p-price, the b-bastard, but at least s-she's not i-in terrible p-pain anymore."

"I- Wait. Kaotaro's a girl? And... What did Core want you to do for her?"
