Which is why any super soldiers I introduce will have wards and protective charms and trinkets. Prayer strips and the like.

Probably most normal soldiers too; If your armor works against bullets but not fire, and suddenly there's a lot more people shooting fire at you than there were before, you tend to look for solutions.

If you can make/provide the item, it's fine with me. A tiny drop of backstory instead of "it's magic piss off big head" is welcome.

Hakim would do detective stuff if anybody clued him in on what to do. He is kinda the new guy after all _{and I haven't been paying too much attention to the Kyle plot} so he doesn't want to intrude. Especially since one of the original members of the group just died and everybody is wrought with emotions because of it.
