Well, Cerol destroyed me.

Once at the fort I sneak around, spotting Cerol but never getting close to him. He's scary looking so I decide to raise some undead. I went into the keep and resurrected all of the nobility that Cerol had slain earlier.

Pic below is me beginning to sneak out. Cerol is the deep purple tile there.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And this one is of me resurrecting Apup Pundikrodem, who was Cerol's target.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Hopefully we can all team up together and slay-NOPE. Nope, I'm dead.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Cerol scratched right through my bronze helmet and bruised my brain killing my in one strike. Game over. The following is the reports that happened after I died, basically him killing my undead pals.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
______

Cerol Boarhates the Ice of Planets stands in mirrorcounselled, aggressive against any who come near him, unchallenged.

It COULD be that he observed my zombie bros attacking someone else before the final battle began and flipped to aggro mode against me. Or that the entire population of the site (mirrorcounseled fortress) turned hostile to me when I came in zombies blazing.

Or he's just pissed at the world.

can you please update the OP?

I dunno when the OP will be updated but since we recognized that it is your turn here is a link to the save. Just hit the download button when you get to the screen:

Cerol Boarhates resides in Mirrorcounseled, which is the easternmost fort in the Union of Grips, which is the human civilization situated in the North middle of the map. Best of luck.

I would love to live and maybe die in this world!

Not sure if dying of old age is an honor or a shame for weaponmasters. On the one hand, it means they never got the opportunity to die in glorious battle. On the other hand, it means nothing could beat them in glorious battle.

This sounds fun, sign me up.

EDIT: Is there something specific we must obey? Like, using a specific tileset or anything? If I recall correctly, switching from tileset-using DF to normal DF causes some strange stuff, or maybe I'm mixing it up with another game.

So is the OP AWOL or something?
anyone who's asking to sign up it does seem the OP is away so I guess we can just make an on the fly list until he returns, as reigning king I feel entitled to take that responisibility  :D
