Here, from page three.
Name: Ammilek, or "Amy". Literal translation is "Misery Spider", less literal and slightly more accurate translations would be "Spider filled with misery" or "Spider who brings misery", though names have a much deeper meaning in her tongue than they do in whatever the common language is called, so none of them are exact.
Age: Appears to be a woman in her young twenties, in reality about 78.
Race: Zerain Construct, Repairs -
The second set of constructs created by the goddess Tyaethera on the southern continent. Designed for repairing both themselves and other constructs, those made to do repairs handled more delicate operations, and, as such, were given a more humanlike, feminine look. The main difference in appearance between humans and this set of constructs is that the thin layer of pseudo-flesh found on Zerain trees is stripped away at the larger joints, which are typically larger than those found in humans to provide the support necessary for a realistic range of movement - they don't have muscles, and there's only so much the long term magic that grants them animation and the ability to think can do. Due to poor planning, these constructs must steal human souls - or, the souls of races like humans - every so often in order to fuel the magics keeping them together. Each construct is provided with a "pendant" to retreat into should they fail to consume a soul in time - however, very few people know what to do with one, and as such relatively few are returned to the altar in Nizeth. To make up for this poor design choice, every five souls consumed produces one dose of euphoria-inducing venom that can be injected into their victims through their fangs. Official "ages" are slightly silly to them, as new ones are never born nor created - all of them are simply reborn versions of themselves, albeit without their memories and in a new body if the pendant that would normally contain their consciousness is destroyed. Due to a somewhat recent rebellion by over half of these constructs - and the fact that this mass rebirth only occurs once every century - the number of "dead" ones that have been returning has drastically declined, as in order to make the journey to the shrine in Nizeth, they require a temporary mate in order to strengthen their bodies long enough to travel to said shrine with the necessary components to fully create a new body for their "dead" to inhabit.
Description: Standing at 5'4", Ammilek sports shoulder-length purple hair, purple eyes, pale pseudo-skin, and a sharp set of color-changing crystalline fangs that assist in the process of stealing souls - Zerain constructs accomplish this in a manner similar to the way vampires steal blood. Two horns protrude from the top of her head, the right one being three inches in length while the left one, much like her arm, is shattered, but cannot be replaced. These, like her teeth, change color to indicate what mood she is in. She also sports a nice set of internal storage compartments - the one in her right arm can hold a dagger, while the one in her abdomen contains the proper equipment for shaping the material that she's made of into the proper form.
Personality: Ammilek feels a slightly odd degree of affection towards those that are willing to let her stick around, despite being quite literally made of evil. This is probably due to her role as a sort of caretaker of the team to which she was assigned at creation, and also partly due to being slightly defective. Unfortunately, she is still evil, so her manner of showing affection is typically sarcasm and light-hearted insults, along with mild violence. She does her best to follow orders exactly as stated - which many times leads to her standing in the same spot for days when told to "wait here", yet at the same time she uses this as a way to get out of doing things she doesn't feel like doing. Making fun of her shattered horn makes her rather upset, however, and she normally ends up moping too much to bother arguing or weaseling her way out of things if this is brought up.
Positives:
1.) Does not require air nor any form of sustenance other than the occasional soul.
2.) Her body parts can be replaced should some of them be destroyed.
3.) Can be transferred to a new body if faced with total destruction, but requires someone willing to lug her pendant back to Nizeth and travel through a cave system for three months and someone to be sacrificed.
4.) Euphoria-inducing venom makes it easier to take a soul from an unwilling victim.
5.) Can feel the general direction of someone whose soul she has "nibbled" through her remaining horn for a year after said "nibbling".
Negative:
1.) Currently using old parts, joints stick and creak, and she moves slowly.
2.) Body parts do not heal naturally, require replacement or a highly skilled mage when sufficiently damaged.
3.) Highly vulnerable to fire and blunt damage
4.) Obviously non-human joints. The joints at her elbows, knees, and shoulders are where the pseudo-flesh was removed from her body in an effort to increase flexibility and allow the joints to be large enough. Will cause problems with dealing with people who dislike non-[insert race here] or constructs.
5.) Divine beings would likely despise her for devouring mortal souls.
6.) Termites would be a problem.
7.) Considered unattractive by others of her race - though not by humans - for reasons that will be revealed in game.
8.) Never intended for combat, despite being somewhat difficult to kill. Penalty to all melee based combat actions.
Neutral:
1.) Must consume at least one soul every two months before her body begins to fail. Requires someone living, turns them into a husk. Typically takes around an hour due to being a slightly delicate process.
2.) Internal storage compartments. Allow for carrying more things, but whatever is in her weighs her down.
3.) Made of evil - anyone who can detect evil will detect her as such, whether she is or is not, due to being constructed from Zerain wood.
Skills: ((Will change these once we get the stat system in place))
Team's Big Sis - Cleaning +5
Never Needed Food - Cooking [Autofail]
Worn:
Ammilek sports a vivid red bow on top of her head, a black-and-red checkerboard dress with a ripped left sleeve, and no shoes.
She also wears her own "pendant", which takes the shape of a blue spider made of the same substance as her teeth and horns.
Inventory:
Rewose's "pendant" - Takes the shape of a bright-pink snowflake.
Two doses of "Ammilek venom"
Zerain Shaper
Shattered remains of left arm. ((Yes, she's starting without her left arm.))
Oh, Kevak, if it matters, her own deity hates her. Not enough to kill her, because she's trying to make up for her mistake - not that Ammilek even knows this - but still, she hates her.
