mastahcheese is probably going to have to explain "half" because normally for hit points it means (using a d8 as an example)

Level 1:    8
Level 2:    4
Level 3:    5
Level 4:    4
etc.

but he could be doing it a different way since he just said half. Also, I'm in with a surprisingly reasonable-looking wizard. Yes, another wizard.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'll whip up a level 2 character sheet tonight.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Hmm, actually do it like this.

1: 8
2: 5
3: 4
4: 5

So you get the rounded up point on every even level. Makes it easier for me to remember, and I'm sure nobody will complain about getting more health earlier.

Could I takre the half level animal companion instead of familiar variant for wizard?

Second from the bottom, but you basically lose the familiar and gain an animal companion with an effective druid level = 1/2 your wizard level.
Since it's pretty much entirely detrimental from my viewpoint, go for it.

Second, what is my "size"?
Third, what are "action points," and how many do I get?
Your size should be medium (unless your something like a Halfling or Gnome. Then you're small.)
As for action points, just ignore those.
I don't know what book added them, and I don't understand them, so we're not using them.

Cool, thanks for the clarification.

What's your thought on me using this wizard variant (from the variants page?

Hmm.

Well, since we're sort of getting a ton of wizards and no melee dudes, yeah, you can take that.

Huh.

Well, I already allowed it.

I need to actually look through the thread and see who's ready to go, I'll go do that now.

Ok, I looked through the thread.

The only person that's complete to the point of me actually being able to put them in the game is Cthulufaic.
Oh wait, nevermind, he still needs to allocate his skill points.

A lot of people are close to being done, but still need to allocate skill points (That's the biggest one I'm seeing), choose feats, choose spells (another common one) and that's pretty much it for most people.

As a Cleric, do I need to choose spells, or can I just send you my list once we start the game?

Hmm, probably just tell me when the game starts.

Also, if you are using anything not in the core book, please add what it does to the note section (Or just somewhere on the sheet where I can find it) or I'll likely forget about it.

Alrighty, I put something together:

Edit: whoops, messed up spell preparation, fixing that now. Should be ok now. (I picked a specialization as well.)

Thanks for the help guys!

Now, I don't know what skill points are, or feats, or spells.

So uhhh... Yeah.

Here's my sheet as it stands.

I'm pretty sure you're done.
You were the first.

Could you help Scotmen? I don't really want to influence player decisions, being the GM and all.
