Ah, so it's just a tiny Slime then. That's good.
It's just that there is a way for more optimal reproduction.

Besides, the Slime are a bunch of violent immortals. So it's okay to be disturbed.

I think I'll just treat them like orks, then. That method of reproduction seems similar enough.

Yeah but 'crazy psycho slimes murder orphanage' is far far better then the headlines:'two females* of very different species give birth to child in combat.'

Which while incredibly misleading was basically what was said in the first post.

*I doubt Pippy is truly female but eh.

Pro-tips for ranged combat: Cover quality is just as important as coverage, if not more so. If you're hiding behind a thin metal table and your opponent has a rocket launcher, you are already dead. Shooting through cover is very useful when your opponent has such crappy cover. Hunkering down gives you +3 to not being hit but this doesn't help when your cover is of the crap kind of quality. Laser weapons run out of ammo much more quickly than bullet weapons but as they don't suffer from recoil (so long as you're trained in them), burst/full-auto may be helpful. EDIT: Do not underestimate glancing shots.

Pro-tips for all combat: If you don't have armour of some kind, you will die. If you don't have pain endurance, you will die. If you can't deal a high amount of damage, you will die.

Combat will be brutal. Avoid fights when able. Technically nobody will permanently die (unless you wanna) due to a feature of the Clusterfuck, but each death has drastic consequences.

He's only saying that because of the work a GM has to put into the combat. Fight as much you want! ;D

What counts as 'drastic consequences'? Respawning with arms in place of legs, and vice versa? Becoming a near-mindless cyborg-zombie? Respawning normally, but being cursed with having to fight a cadre of ninja every time one enters a new room?

I think Pippy would be delighted though, as long as she's not entirely destroyed, she'll get a new sidekick, maybe more if she's dismembered.
Though that would also mean that, on Nope...

crikey. But judging by "drastic consequences", something nasty.

Hmm, maybe running some test battles would be a good idea. If I have time later today, that is.

((Ok, after some time of pondering, I've decided to give a very simple explanation of Slime biology. Along with other things.
Actually, it's more of a history of the race thingy.))

Spoiler: This'll be a long one. (click to show/hide)

It's a misunderstanding. She got her arm severed, so it became a separate Slime. So basically she became a mother, not pregnant.
