Does it matter? The victor writes history to their liking.

Again does it matter? I'm stuck in it and I will probably try leaving at some point.

Because humans are fearful of what they don't have or understand. It's simply human nature.

However I decide it will. The universe gives control to those who take it. Even if they don't particularly want it, if they take it, they have it till they let it go.

+1 Philosophy!

"You're a quick boy. But the statement that humans are afraid of the unknown as part of their nature... it implies the unknown is not to be feared." lightening quick regret across his face is soon gone "And I hope you understand the statement you are truly saying. I will not regret this, no matter how it goes, but you were not chosen. No-one was.

the golden light inside your heart stolen from starlight expands a little, spreading its luminence across your ribcage in an beautifully painful dance across it wait ow ow fuck this really really hurts are you dyingyouredyinganditsalmostoverandwhyishesmi

And upon waking, you forget the dream immediately. How long were you sleeping? You feel like it's been a hundred years. You're so hungry. The sunlight is barely entering your bedroom, so it must be morning, so you must have slept almost the entire day and night away. That's almost sixteen hours! Is that an SP thing? Or were you just that... you hesitate to say jetlagged, because you don't even know if you were on a jet. You could be down the street from your own house or halfway across the world from it for all you know. When you look at the clock you see it's a depressing hour. 5am! You never even had to get up that early before, let alone wake up naturally at that time.

Well, you're awake, and it's going to be your first school day. Why does that sound so ominous to you?

Your room is rather small, with a desk and a bed that you are currently lying on. There is a balcony you didn't notice with a patio door that looks out on the town.

So, you want fruit straight from the tree and want to butcher your own animals? +1!

Don't eat the bacon, at least not yet. Go find a mess hall or some place that gives cheap food. Eat everything.

.. You know, if we get enough stem cells, couldn't we technically make ourselves immune to manipulators cause we could just absorb the parasites and kill them?

You head out of the apartment and down the stairs, with not a sound around you except the lightest (And occasionally heavy) sounds of snoring. You walk out the door into the crisp morning air and look around for a mess hall or similar. However, you notice that the majority of restaurants, markets, and cafés have several items that appear to be free. Unfortunately, all of these places don't open until 7am. You feel slightly put out for getting up, until you think of something.

Eat the bacon, go buy untouched fruit and meat, wash it, eat it.

You snap your fingers in appreciation of the clever idea. Since getting fruit would be much easier then having to hunt and kill an animal, you go in search of a fruit tree in your local area. You find yourself in luck as there is an apple tree in an easily reachable back yard. You climb over the small wall, then shake the tree a bit. A deluge of apples comes down, most of them on the sidewalk! Counting them up, there is 15 of them. This is good. You wonder how exactly you're going to carry it, considering you don't have a pack, and the longer you leave them the dirtier they're getting.

No fat, cause fat means we are less able to escape someone, also it means we aren't able to do stuff as easily, and we won't be as attractive, and that means we can't mess with random people's sexual orientations, and bubbly nonsense isn't as interesting coming from a bloated fat person, and we would be better off putting the material to use, like growing a tail and wolf ears, or claws, or giving ourselves eyeshine so we can see in the dark easier, or fangs, or making our immune system OP, or increasing our brain's functions to absurd levels, or vomiting up a baby fox and watching it grow in seconds, or eating things so we can do more weird stuff.

+1 to transforming excess fat into babby fox. We can somehow weaponize it, I'm sure.
