((The standards have changed. Humanity is in the universe and finding just as much weird shit on other planets as they did on Earth. This kind of concentration is extremely rare but can happen naturally. And this AI isn't Just an AI, you'll find out more on that later.))
((But really, most of the SCP grade things you guys have found so far are completely harmless, one of the more dangerous ones is contained as of right now and the Ketercookies can be easily dealt with if you know how.))

((Thaumiel-class anomalies are not necessarily reality-warping. They are something that can contain and/or counteract the effects of other anomalies. So destroying one would be a Bad Idea.))
