A "gaiden" is literally a sidestory.  This chapter to go heroically squish some bugs and flush them down the figurative toilet is just a side chapter, not a main chapter. ^_^

Oh, and the deep dark secret of the caves is actually that the mines aren't actually there.  The door is just painted on like a Looney Tunes short.

EDIT: So, the monsters need to spend 2 MOV to move into a forest space, but as a pegasus rider, I don't, right? So the spider wouldn't be able to reach me at, say, (3,11)?

Further EDIT: Also, how much does the rain affect everyone else? I know it doesn't affect me one whit (again, Pegasus Rider is good for everything except fighting Knights and asserting one's heterosexual masculinity  ), but still good to know how screwed my teammates/enemies are.
