Oh, they do. It's not televised, but we've had a pretty nasty fight between hardcore nationalists and hardcore communists in the neighbourhood recently.

I kind of meant in Ukraine, unless that's what you mean.

*Ahem* Back to the earlier derail, after columbia the station operated for 2 years with less crew, however Soyuz capsules still delivered and retrieved crew every 6 months or so. Theres also the X37C which is supposed to carry 6 astronauts, I don't know if Boeing has finished any yet.

Besides ignoring armed terrorist that kill and torture Ukrainians is worse than the war. Few months of doing nothing and that shit will spread to the whole country. It is a duty of the government  to eliminate guys like that.

Ukrainian forces erect blockades around occupied buildings to clear the buildings.
Putin loses his megalomaniacally fueled mind and declares war on Ukraine for keeping the country safe and intact.
NATO intervenes.
Russia launches nukes.
NATO nukes Russia.
China picks up the now radioactive pieces.

Why would NATO intervene? Ukraine is not in NATO and NATO is not a generic peacekeeping force.

NATO won't intervene, nukes aren't in the picture.

Worst case scenario: NATO aggressively arms and supplies Ukrainian partisans, and it makes such a large difference Russia launches raids on NATO/partisan supply lines outside of Ukraine.

That's when we can start worrying.
