This may be nitpicking on the level of a GWG post, but changing gold into lead would not increase it's weight by that much. Gold has an atomic mass of 196 vs. Lead's 207, so on an atom-by-atom conversion, GWG's lead would be 4.5% heavier or so. However, by volume, Gold is much heavier, as it's density is much higher. Since we're talking about a magic conversion, I leave it up to you to decide whether the gold was changed by volume, atom, or ... uh ....  uhhhhhhh.... yeah.

I just assumed they were just gold coloured, rather than made out of literal gold. You know, the slightly more sensible option (as far as that applies to giant firebreathing flying lizards).
