Colt paused slightly as he took his position and looked over. It had seemed someone else had beaten him to placing themselves in between Eleonore and the gargoyles. Under normal circumstances, Colt would have been insulted, but this one was a looker. She was a solid 5 or 6 on the scale. Halldora... That is what they said her name was. He grinned. Colt had always held a soft spot in his heart for blondes.

He gave her a quick look once more. While she was dressed like a common sellsword, she had a bit of a certain noble, yet unrefined gait about her. A woman of mystery. Colt liked that.

:"Hey. Halldora right? Do you think you'll be able to keep up?"

He chuckled slightly under his breath. She seemed a bit nervous. It was a bit cute really, and therefore solidified her position as a solid 6 on the scale. Clearly she didn't quite fully realize that these things didn't even deserve the benefit of the doubt. This was going to be a cakewalk.

The gargoyles attacked - one went for O'Connor, wounding him with a javelin toss.

Three more monsters came from the north and stopped by the chieftain. They gurgled together for a moment before turning toward Eleonore, Halldora and others, and flapped their wings, preparing for attack.

"Nerea! Front line isn't for healers... Here." Eleonore quickly moved up and healed the wounded healer.

Jorund thumped the head of his axe on the stone below him.

"Stronger!"

With a roar, Jorund moved to a better position and struck out at the attacking Gargoyle again.

Jorund to 10,14 and attack Gargoyle B!

Einar to 13-9, shoot Gargoyle H, canto to 11-10

Riding back up to Eleonore and company, he shot at one of the beasts harassing the ladies, and then moved out of the way so they could finish the second one. Grinning at them, he leaned on the pommel of his saddle and said,

"I thought you might appreciate a bit of help. And since it is my job to protect you, how could I not come? Though I must say, Halldora, you seem to be holding your own quite well here."

Cidney spat in annoyance as he turned around, and started back the way he came.

"Yeah, that'd be right, wouldn't it? Flat as a spit-brick, this is."

The wilds-man let out a jeer as he came to a stop next to their two resident holy women, his magic cut off when he saw an arrow take the creature he'd been about to blast in the chest. Sighing, he motioned for Nerea to get back.

"Oi, love, take a hop back 'fore ya get nicked, would ya? Don't want these yobbos ta carve a rippa on ya, do we?"
