     She has the stats of a Rookie, which is always what annoys me when the reward is personnel, and is also the reason I never buy the academy perk that allows you to recruit Squaddies - their stats are still Rookie level.

Edit: Correction - it seems that this has been changed so that all non-rookies start at Squaddie level.  Still annoying for higher ranks.

Eh, she's got 14 Mobility and 88 Aim. That's pretty damn good even for a Sergeant. In any case, she's been customized. I gave her Black, you can change that if you want. Our Irish girl has been customized as well.


Next up for news:


We have increased our Satellite Capabilities.


And researched Beam Weapons!



What shall we research next? Interrogating a Sectoid will give us a %25 reduction in research time for all of the other beam weapons. I've chosen that as a default, just so we don't have a repeat of the lazy scientists mooching off of us.

What shall we do next? Also, should I sell some corpses so we can buy additional weapons? We can't afford many right now, although our Heavies won't be able to use them, and they make up the bulk of our squaddies.

Might as well interrogate the thing. Best to get interrogating out of the way early on, for the bonuses.

Interrogation is good for now, let's hope we have time to finish it before another mission.

Unfortunately, we are one engineer short of being able to produce Laser Rifles, so I just made two pistols.


That fact becomes immediately more depressing.

St. John's Cathedral? Oh hell no.

We can't afford to lose North America. But, if we deploy and pull this one off, we're one step closer to solidifying our presence as the global defenders of Earth. As such, Krauss is ready to be deployed again. He knows the stakes of this mission and is determined to give his last breath to defend Earth.
