Oh boy, I stumbled upon this stuff a while ago, and it's awesome. It's nice to see it's going again.

When the door can't take much more, go for the legs. Try to make whatever is splintering the door vulnerable by making it lose its balance. If able to make the thing prone, try to disable any sharp bits.

Alternatively, try to talk with 'mother' in an attempt to stall 'her', (Perhaps allowing 'mother' to be ambushed by your black cat?) Be eloquent.

Edit: Also, check if b&w cats left the closet through a rear passage, cause it'd be a real shame if you missed that.
