Bio: Medens grew up in Clangendum, in a castle town very near the border with Adstrum. Born to a tavern-keeper and a retired pegasus rider, the boy grew to appreciate the value of life, chivalry, and the joy of riding early on. Restless in his home town, he managed to become a rider in the service of the local lord as early as was allowed, with the (somewhat reluctant, on his father's part) aid of his parents. But here, too, it was not enough. Yet he could not leave; to do so would be unbecoming of a gentlemen and a knight. Medens had his chance when the old lord died of a betrayal within his court, part of an attempted(and swiftly suppressed) rebellion by the man's middle son. The rider took this opportunity to leave, escaping in the aftermath and confusion once the initial battle was over; his liege was dead, and he had sword no oath to the new lord. Not really sure what he wanted to do exactly, with his life, he served as hired help and an courier as he worked his way north, hoping to find a calling beyond such mediocre tasks.
He also happens to cook a mean stew.
