Keyleth had to resist a reflexive urge to grab the arm and plant the tiefling in the dirt. Back at the monastery, people didn't often throw arms over another person's shoulder unless they were sparring.

"I do? I just don't know why they ran off."

Your Highly Enjoyable race:
David trips and falls a minute in, unable to go on.

Cromwell gets stuck in some brambles, and Damirion, who was right behind him, crashes into Cromwell and effectively knocks them out of the race.

Two minutes and twenty-seven seconds in, Perrin falls out of a tree flat on his face.

Rhogar wins.

A few minutes later, David reaches the point where you other four are waiting, and Keyleth and Ezra soon follow. Everyone continues along the way, and eventually, you all reach a foreboding stone brick building. With several seven-sided windows, each coloured in a way that sums each of you up very well, thick double doors, and a great mural painted above the door, featuring a tall man with a flamberge, a short man with a dagger and what looks like a shiny cape, a man with pointy ears firing snowflakes from his hands, an unarmed pointy-eared woman (who is notably wearing a shiny headband), a demonic woman with a scimitar, a dragon-man with a lightning-y longsword, and a semi-pointy eared (no clue how that works) man with a hammer, all of them fighting a ghost, which seems to be trying to kill them.

What now?

Go around back. There's always something around back. Generally a wall.

"Hey, I'm going around back to make sure nobody else got here first. Anyone want to come with?"

The two of you go out back, where there is a heavily cracked wall (interestingly, the cracks look like "4Z".) You don't have any round blue bombs, a hammer with a skull on it, or the like, so there's no way you're getting in through here.

This is a masterfully crafted engraving of warriors battling the undead. The warriors are attacking the undead with a variety of masterwork weapons. This relates to the supposed duel between seven adventurers and the forces of darkness on -X-X (the text is too smudged to read.)

David comes around to look at the back wall.

"I'd suggest that we break it open, but it'd probably be easier to find a door."

"I'll just go try the door."
He does so.

"Well, that escalated quickly."

Call for Keyleth and whatever-his-name-was to get back here NAO. (In exactly those words.)

((Don't you dare tell me off for taking more than a couple of hours to post, Mr Took-Over-A-Week-To-Finish-Off-A-Bear :X

Anyway, I have an idea. How tall would you say the doorway is? Tall enough to maybe fly in over the zombies' heads?))
