Tawarochir, WhitiesOpus, and Jiokuy: As my fellow "newbies", who would you guess to be the scummiest of us four?
I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to start pointing fingers at one of us already. If we're noobs to this, how can we measure who's the scummiest?
Good point. It was a general question for question's sake, I guess. I felt I didn't have enough questions.
Uh... We can measure by first impressions?
flabort: Why are you so quick to make someone slip into such an easy trap? What do you think are the qualities of scum?
On the forums where I've played before, day 1 traps are a very common tactic. Especially in that one game, Seer's Academy (everyone had a role-check ability of some sort). Generally, the faster you are at finding a way to bring someone's loyalty into question and figure it out for sure, the more effective a player you are.
Being way too aggressive for something that isn't really scummy.
Flabort and Jiokuy: Who is Darksword?
1) Thank you for the defense.
2) Deathsword, sorry.
Typo, and he copied it.
flabort: Well two of us have not posted yet, you seem to be actively scum hunting. I'll get back to you before night.
Much appreciated.
Flabort:
You are acting incredibly odd, like what seems to be intentionally misinterpreting Deathsword's responses to you (at first, at least). Do you understand how this game works?
Well, first off, I didn't see an
express rule saying we
have to ask other players questions; I just assumed they were a good way to find scum tells and get a feel for the game balance. Secondly, I was also reading Homestuck at the same time, at the 5th or 6th act I think, and misread his post, explaining the misinterpretation.
I understand how the night/day/twilight rules work, the lynch and abilities, and have played several games ON A DIFFERENT FORUM, even running two. However, this being a different forum with different customs, I am not used to the nuances of the community in Mafia, which I have said I am accustomed to being called Werewolf.
TheDarkStar: Which flavor roles do you think are the freemasons, if there are any? I'm inclined to thing the 3 representatives are the masons. Keeping in mind if this role typically goes by a different name in Mafia then Werewolf, it's a town ability that lets the group of them know each other right of the bat, guaranteeing they are not scum.
