He seems unsure about using such a lethal weapon against conscripts that didn't choose to be there, but he should be able to operate it if needed. You then proceed to look for an alchemist, but the only one you find is desperately looking for nitric acid.

You try to manufacture C4, but it seems you're lacking several major ingredient such as... Well all of them really. To make it, you'll need an explosive (Nitric acid and formaldehyde and ammonia will let you craft RDX) and some plastic to plasticize your explosive. However, for some reasons you cannot fathom, the protest grounds seems to be lacking in these very important chemicals.

You start singing in support of your side, while looking for some useful weapon. [2] Oleyskiy did some great job crafting this barricade, and didn't leave a single 2*4 or stick unused. No weapons for you.

[6] You rush toward the sound of the incoming conscripts, and you suddenly realized why you didn't find any cobblestones earlier: someone had carefully stripped them off the ground and made them into a large pile near the barricade, ready for the throwing!
Battle!50 conscripts charge against 50 protesters. [4] vs [4+

1] (Small Victory) Protester manage to hold the conscripts at bay, ~5 of them are hurt, the rest regroup for another charge.
New rules: For fight between group the difference between the rolls decide wheter it's a small (1-2), medium (3-4), large (5-6) or absolute (6+) victory. Still not sure about the singing giving a flat +1 to everything, might be too powerful.
