Do you think plumpy will stop following us if we give him our puzzlebox?
Why do we want Plumpy to stop following us?
Let him follow, he may be a friend.

My sentiments exactly. Besides, he's a Plump Helmet Man. Is there anything cooler?

I say focus on Cowsea.
If we want to become the best cheesemaker, like noone ever was. Cowsea is the way to go.

edit: Ask if it's possible to worship more than one god. (to keep Cowsea secondary, if she's not chosen first.)

The poll says "Other" god, because we all know Cowsea is No. 1.

I like the idea of Sunshield better than Urist CCCVI, mostly because I don't see what use worshiping the god of suicide would be... I mean, we don't want Misty to kill herself, do we?

Only if this works like those other MSPaint-style adventures and she comes back even stronger with Cheese-based powers and wings. But not fairy wings like those pricks over at Homestuck, awesome angel wings to become Cowsea's demi-god friend.

I don't know about you guys, but when I get new migrants at my fortresses, and when there's a cheesemaker among them...

>"Oh look, a group of unskilled peasants."
>"I'm a cheesmaker, sir!"
>"Like I said, unskilled peasants. Head to the barracks, get some mismatched gear, and into the caverns with you. Survivors get to join the military. Have FUN."

So I feel perhaps the god of protection may be a useful ally among the available options.
Also, Sunshield is the god of children, and Misty seems to be an adolescent at perhaps best. Ergo, extra protection.

She is 12 years old. She is an adult who is fully capable of making major life decisions without protection.

I'll pick SunShield, if that fortress is like most, a dabbling cheesemaker will surely turn into part of a crappy squad made only for distracting the horrible monstrositys that roam the caverns, chase kobolds and being raped by goblins, or a unskilled miner tasked to dig into a cavern, magma or the HFS.

My second turn's unnoficial goal was to turn everyone into vampires, and it backfired so bad, I ended up making the fort a more efficient, safer and friendlier place.
