This is Dwarf Fortress, all of y'all already know this story does not have a happy ending rainbow at the end! You all already know The littlest cheesemaker is going to be the last [air qoute]"living"[/air qoute] thing on the landscape as a vampire werewolf mummy necromancer, caked with so much blood it might as well be a second skin layer, with the heads of several demons and human kings tied in a knot at the hair around her neck like a trophy necklace. And that is like, the ceiling absolute best case scenario!

*grabs popcorn* Ooooh, this gon be goood....

You expand the claim of your bedroom to include this new, empty space.

Really, though, you just write your name on the wall in this new room.

You are now the proud owner of two beds, two cabinets, a chest, two doors, and a magnificent 13 square meters of floor space.  Not that it matters; once you get to ShieldDawn, they'll give you your own majesty-level bedroom.  You bet everyone has one, especially the valuable cheesemakers.  You can't wait to get there.

Oh, yes! The bricks! The valuable bricks!

You can take one, put it in your backpack, and use it for all sorts of useful stuff!  You can build walls, use it as a weapon, throw it, use it to hold down pressure plates-

On second thought, you'll just leave the bricks here.

Oh, wait, yeah, that might work!  The migrants aren't taking a caravan, but if you snuck into a bin, you could *easily* slip past!

You poke your head out the door.

Looks like the coast is clear...you make a run for it.

Looks like they just left!

Looks like only a few turned out to see the group off.  It used to be that the entire mountainhome would come up to the gates for the occasion, but it's become so common place that it's barely registered as a holiday any more.  This is the only way out...if you don't hurry, you won't be able to catch up to the migrant party and it'll be another whole year before you can leave!

+1 and Grow an beard, like all the true dwarf ladys :P
No, no, she's cute without it.
But, having a fake beard would be useful to disguise herself as a male dwarf. Yes, we need a fake beard.
And go throw a party at the main dining hall, that's how the birthday is supposed to go!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
hey nice thread, have some fanart of Misty with her beard.
