I think he said they put magic aside, I prefer to have it that way. Space Goblins are key to success anyhow.

But the age of magic has been abandoned, leaving area for new types of research and technologies that both use magic and modern science. Lead your people to explore the many disciplines of science and achieve the ultimate goal -- space.

We can't research shit. We have no SP points.

Continue mining program. Send exploration vessels to the blue planet, red planet, yellow has giant, and red gas giant in that order. If we can only send one, go to the blue planet.

((What're our research limitations besides SP points? Resources? Manpower? Why do we need a global map? SO MANY QUESTIONS.))

Bay12 hates me, as proven by the fact that notify doesn't actually notify me. So, PTW.

╞══════════════════════════════-ASCENSION-══════════════════════════════╡

   Scientists have begun work on the first rocket to explore the upper atmosphere -- the Zanzak I. The purpse of the mission is to collect various types of data about the upper atmosphere for scientific research. The instruments on the rocket are basic however, ranging from basic testing samples to thermometers and barometers.

===

   The finished rocket is quite basic, having two SRBs attached with wings against a large liquid fuel body propelled by an MRE engine. The rocket stands on the launch pad as it is prepared for launch.

 "3... 2... 1..." a voice says from the control tower before the rocket's engines light up with flames and take off, sending a booming roar throughout the research center.

 "All engines nominal." the voice says as the rocket lifts off.
 "And we have lift-off of the Zanzak I rocket!"

===
   The rocket decouples the SRB engines at an altitude of 11,000m before running out of all fuel at 50,000. The parachute engages and the data is retrieved, earning 100 SP.

You have researched 'basic chemistry'.

Well that went good. Maybe we should try another launch using the improved fuels and oxidisers.

I vote we research surveying, as I suspect it will be useful for getting more SCIENCE! Points.

Do we have vertical decouplers yet?

Try making the Zanzak II by slapping 4 SRBs on a 2 fuel tanks rocket.
