I've found that my kills go to every class except support; I often force myself to level them up to become medikit mules, and then they just stagnate.  Because at that point they are both the weakest and the least expendable.

I'm not honestly sure why people think supports are good fighters.  They have almost literally no offensive upgrades.  In terms of getting kills you basically have a rookie with better base stats and extra slots.  Whereas every other class becomes an alien chewing monstrosity at Colonel.  Supports are great of course, but for defending the squad not killing the aliens.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

I like support for their extra move. My support tend to benefit the easiest from full cover (That's usually juuuust a step or two out of move + shoot range for most other classes) so they get a lot of overwatch kills, and sometimes they crit when they're setting up an enemy to be killed and do the job themselves.

Interlude: Finances Get In the Way

Shen: We risk losing one or more XCOM member nations to spiralling panic if we don't give them some satellite coverage soonish.
Garroth: Wait. We don't have infinite funding?

Bradford: Um... nope. But everything we've looted so far can be sold to member nations for some side income...

Sell loot, gain satellites? y/n

I'd be reluctant to sell the UFO Power Source if it hasn't already been researched - selling 50 Elerium and 75 Alien Alloys would give us enough money for two satellites and would still leave resources left over.

No harm in selling some (10 at most) of the sectoid corpses and at least one of the UFO computers.

Provided you trust yourself not to forget, remember to wait until 21 days before the end of the month to buy satellites.  That way you know what you're working with in terms of money and loot.  Except for one very rare circumstance, there's no point in buying satellites early.

But yeah, there is no time when I will answer "no" that question :P

So, I'm thinking five, maybe six of us will end up dead in this mission?

There's cryssalids so... TPK or everyone lives.  Well, OK, maybe a death or two to floaters.

All we have to do is rescue ONE civillian, and the mission is not considered a failure.

Aiming angles does give us a critical hit bonus against aliens out of cover right? And chryssalids don't take cover.

Yes, but they're also fast and extremely resistant to damage. If you attack from the front, you can feasibly have a 0% chance to hit.

Lovely :D

Um, since this is EU and not EW, I don't have Aiming Angles as a second wave option :S

heheheheheh I see what you're doing here... :P

EDIT: Kaje, I've got a Scot sitting in the barracks. Is that British enough for you? :3
