Having a giant revolver in place of your chest makes it sound like you'll accidentally fire it and explode your own head.

I'm assuming that the gun will be aimed forward here. I was gonna say "like I give a fuck about my head" but then I realized I am still trying to reattach my doll head, which will greatly improve my chances of reattaching the rest of me as well, so....

Going only by the game's rules, that's not an assumption you can make. The revolver has the [end] tag, and the chest slot is between the head and guts.

fair enough. I forgot about the end tag. I'll put the head in the gut location then. I'll just do without a head location object until I can get a better chest piece. Honestly, I though two tries would be enough to get one, but I rolled below 35 twice in a row, apparently.

I could. But it has the highest hp of any part available besides my clockwork upper arm, and works well in that regard as a buffer between attacks and my core.

Come to that, I cold put it between my character's legs anyway, since they are laying in separate piles up on the platform as it is.
