Except that would provide a very good motivation for getting lost, or otherwise delaying. And little disincentive against suicidal pvp, self-destructive behaviour, high collateral strategies, or saboteurs who want a game in which their characters have a goal selected by them. I mean, nobody likes being replaced: the entire ship would be wrecked on the first mission, in all probability, under the pressure of the waitlist, in a desperate effort to have fun before they have to leave, and to make their mark or keep playing. And if not, everyone would have to leave their own mark: injokes and running gags work on fortresses where there's one overseer at a time and some are fairly normal, but with a dozen people doing it, the ship would turn into a cancerous mass of half-finished designs that would require its own wiki.

Also, waitlist.

One way to rectify the piloting problem would be to make the ship semi-automated. It'd have a preplanned flight path that cannot be diverted. Also, becoming a clock-flesh-steampunk cancer mass is the whole idea.  It'll be like a horrible, horrible public transport system.

I find it interesting that the wiki poll has four more votes for Ero than the thread poll.  That's 36% more votes, despite both polls having almost identical turnout if you account for double votes.  What is it that they say?  You're not paranoid if you're right?
Yes, yes, I know, obviously four people just changed their mind.  Be quiet, you.

Could be other factors.  It's not anonymous, for example.

I did not vote in the new pole, because the additional information made it so I could not decide what game I preferred.

I voted ERORO in the wiki poll and just ORO in the thread, after receiving more info.

It thank you for that but I have no earthy idea what that grid should be describing to me.

Single transferable vote is fair, but perhaps not always intuitive. Basically, Oro wins.

12 for ERO to 21 for ORO. Difference of 9, percent difference of hell if I know, I'm not a very good mathematician. <_<
That count was apparently inaccurate anyway, so please hold.
