Apparently a new Xcom dlc is coming out
https://xcom.com/news/en-xcom-2-recruits-anarchys-children-on-march-17

But they still haven't fixed the fact that it's a buggy mess.

In semi-related news, I'd recommend this LP of Xcom 2 for anyone interested:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpAdhLcuSjk&list=PL57hJfweW_2uOKPWfEriTuWyc1I80mGL6

Its commander difficulty, ironman.  Ie, it's 7 episodes of screaming, sobbing failure and then the game ends. I found it very entertaining, and somewhat resembling.

As per ORO I think this is fairly final So I suppose I'll start working on it.

One thing I can use your help with is...actually I'll make a thread for it.

Dlc reminds me of heavily borderlands inspired.

I'm still half-way through a long-war campaign. XCOM2 doesn't come close in terms of depth and hours of play...

If Toady comes in and requests a poll, I'll be happy to announc eto him that I think this subforum should remain. though a number of PW games, past and present, are not within. Perhaps they could be?

Migrating them is easy enough.

There is nothing productive for me to do.
There's always war crimes.

I am suddenly reminded of the Serial Killer mission.

This is going swimmingly. Though I wish I could have gone with one of the vet teams so that there would have actually been stuff to do instead of dicking around.

What, like die? I admire your bravery for maxing your firepower, but minning fate and end won't get you very far in a real combat situation.

Yeah, but it's fucking boring to have nothing to use my fire power on. Where's the remnants of the UWM trying to assault the portal? Where's the excitement and danger from outside sources? It's just not that interesting.

I'm guessing the local warlords are gonna show up soon since we tried to steal their subjects, then opened fire with artillery and hideous spacemagik at them

Both rookie and vet teams lack any threats that aren't the people they're there to help, which likely explains the influx of mass murder around. v_v
In fact, not even supervets are meeting much resistance. I honestly can't quite see anyone on this set of missions dieing due to enemy action, noobs and vets because there is no organized enemy, and supervets.because if the enemy had anything bigger than plebs with small arms they should have deployed it already.
The only way I see these missions could have potentially been dangerous is if a fresh noob had decided to go on the supervet mission.
And at this point, for Gordon Freeman, the biggest chance of death is being crushed by Auron's massive overcompensation.
Compare this to Aigre's amd Ozark's ER variations, where I was shot in the face the moment I got off the chopper and was used as a power source for a other player's resurection, respectivly, both in my first mission.
TL;DR: Piecewise please kill me.

Complacency is when PW pulls out the nasty surprises.

Isn't this like, the opposite of complacency? I mean, we're begging for the nasty surprises.

Which would mean that this mission being completely without problem would be a nasty surprise.
