Looks like M21 won the war of the "biggest mission cockup" contest.  I don't think unleashing Space Cthulhu can be topped.

Well, only those guns mounted on a hardpoint. Are those even listed in the armory?
The turret conversion kit also supports it. But someone will have to write an actual program to allow it to do so.

Since it normally uses CON when in turret mode, and there's no way in hell to automate it (short of purchasing additional, expensive parts) either.

Jury-rig the control cables of the hardpoint (if it's motorized, anyway...) to connect to a spare port on the suit. Assuming you know how to program drivers for the suit ports, understand control theory, and have all the tools you need to do development on your wristpad (actually, the wires could be attached to the wristpad instead), you could spend a few hours writing something very basic, or a few weeks making something that's well-engineered. Idk what programming is like in this future, we might get all sorts of tools to greatly reduce the amount of work a programmer must do, we might be able to work in extremely high-level languages that use things like concept diagrams to structure code, for example, or automated test generation. Programming might be substantially easier then, which might allow for the kind of on-mission code wizardry that you only see in movies.

Once again, Pan is a braincase. Assuming that he makes it out of this, I feel like I should put his braincase in a rolling metal ball or something. He loses his limbs all the time anyway, might as well cut out the middle man.

C'mon people, why can't we let people play their chars without ooc consternation? He did have a sort of ic justification, and there's nothing saying anyone has to take such behaviour lying down ic, but let's not judge people for it ooc as long as no blatant meta or such is going on. Mind, I get why you'd balk at this particular action, but still. Imagine someone ever played a real cold-blooded criminal!

Or get the braincase mobility system. I've got a variant that has rockets ready for approval. There's also the normal one that has the wall climbing legs.

Oh, right, completely forgot about picking up Pancaek, too! :D (Sorry.)

Does the braincase (ejectable part, at least) have proper life-support mechanism in-built? Because if not, I can put Pancaek into the cooler for what it's worth.

Also, you might want to look into that "Braincase Mobility System". It requires +1 Aux, you have +0, assuming full levelup (yeeeeeah :P) you could get there after the mission.

For ex-penal unit, we are really low on real cold-blooded criminals. Not that it'd be very fun for everyone around... but hey, immersion! Still planning to try and create one if Maurice buys a farm on that rapidly-turning-alien soil.

On topic: Let's close the issue, shall we? (Addressed more to those who don't want to, rather than RC-Paris-etc.) The initial event (xeno-spit intoxication) never happened, we got a minor wonder on our hands instead (first character ever to resist xeno-spit!), let's leave it at that and never revisit the matter. After all, Random Numbers God clearly wills so, apparently. You could even say... Mistress wills so. :P

Why, Flint, why? The gods of dice has shown that they don't want you to proceed! They even gave you a clear way out of the situation!..

(And, for the record, aborting assassination attempt if the chances have gone down and "safe abort" is possible is a perfectly valid technique. We're not going for a duel here, are we?..)

I think you're being a little harsh on Parisbre56 here. I don't think it was about butchering a newb, but about neutralizing an apparent threat. Pancaek decapitating spazyak's character had no ingame consequences for that character, after all.
