Knew fate stat was a good idea if that's what got rolled but now shes obviously turning away calling flint basically awsome and yelling down the hall so she can buy stuff from the armory master

I... can really feel that pain, as I also have it sometimes. Doesn't help that my usual first reaction to that kind of situation is "stop talking to that person rather than waste time explaining shit".

Just beware: +4 Fate won't stop you from certain death the way even +1 End might (Mesk case: he had +4 Fate, but +0 End, and died of that, with no rolls allowed). Just consider investing a level-up or three into End, just in case - it should drastically help with survivability.

Ulrich takes Maurice-chan on his arms to fly away, but suddenly Hasala stops him!

"Give Maurice-chan to me!" He demands, bolstering his request with his sticky goop thrower. "He's mine!"
"What?" Ulrich asks, confused by such demand. "We are in hurry, can't this wait until we have escaped Mighty Morul's grasp?"
"No! I must do this now!" Hasala says jealous seeping into his voice. "I will fight you to death for his heart!"
"Oh, ok. Sure, here." Ulrich drops Maurice into Hasala's sticky embrace. "Have fun!"

Hasala and Maurice do the thing while Ulrich escapes the certain death.
