First of all: Welcome to the game! This is the OOC thread where we discuss such things in general. Also, getting acquainted with the wiki is a good idea.
After you have posted your character sheet, it gets approved, and then you flop our of your stasis chamber in the "On Ship thread" and can do whatever you want, and actually volunteer for missions. There are three different missions currently being recruited for, so you have arrived just in time.

You try to ignore it. It starts walking besides you.
"Hey, you looking for something good? Eh? You want something good? I've got primo stuff, right here."
Still following you, it opens up its cloak, revealing its merchandise.
"Limbs, you want limbs? Arms, legs, I've got all. And organs, I've got organs, freshly harvested last week. See? Seeeee? Eyballs, hearts, lungs. Still fresh, still red, still throbbing. Wanna touch them? They feel real. Come one, I'll make you a good price. Eh? Eh? Whadya say?"
