Now why do you people do this?  Why warn somone when they have a bad idea, if it's just gonna make things more fun to read?  Sure, it might result in him screaming about the food being poisoned, then throwing it in the host's face and storming out, but that just means we can say "oh, he had some really interesting experiments done on his brain.  They were stupid, but we let our allies try stupid experiments if they want to.  We're awesome like that."

Anyways, he doesn't have a penalty to intuition.  The BEES incident was caused by a 1-1, which can't happen.

Probably the same as it being killed by a LESHO round, orbital bombardment or a remote controlled robot operated via QEC by a man in another solar system: It would choose the most suitable victim it could get its metaphysical jaws on.

This kinda makes me wonder what would happen if Grate was on this mission.

Does he die when the Eater transfers to him? Does he die enough that he could reappear when that happens?

Stuck with the body that cannot become dead and thus unable to seek another host, sure, but invincible. Hmmm. Sounds like a plan. Too bad Grate is on Heph and cannot be fetched down for the convenience.
