1 from roll + 1 from Avatar + 1 from dynamic bonus previous turn. So uh, shall we say the remaining three sods are dead after all, or can I reuse that dynamic bonus?

Miya will finish off final sods with naginata, then move forward a bit to get a better visual on the incoming MkIII sods (stay within firing distance from the bunker). Plan is to let him distract MkIII sods so snipers and team C can pick them of.

Let regular sods in bunker and sniper sods finish of the enemy at bunker 1.
The sod team in bunker 2 (team C) starts shooting either the sods coming from the east, or the MkIII sods coming from the north, whichever they can target.
Mobile artillery near team D start shooting the sods that are slipping by them.
Mobile artillery near team B start shooting the sods that are assaulting team F.
Final two mobile artillery shoots at enemies near team E.
Heavy artillery reloads.
Laser battery defenses engage the sods moving toward the shipyard.

He then contacts several team leads:
Team D
"There are sods slipping by you according to the feed from the drones. Deal with them."
Team G
"Get some people to deal with the sods moving into the shipyard, don't let them damage our ships. Next to that, send one or two people to bunker 2. Pick who you want, maybe Feyri and Lyra would do? Oh, and I assume you're already getting adequate help to E team?"
Team A
"Be advised, there are hostiles coming in your direction, they might find our bunker. Not sure yet where exactly they will end up."
Sean (or Steve)
"Send Party wagon over to hostiles moving in from the east. Make sure it doesn't fly to low so it can be shot at, just a quick strafing should hold them up for a little while."

((Gonna hold off on using the Steve bots just yet. They'll be hunting drop ships for us at the moment I think, so let's just let them do what they're good at.))

It's actually worth noting that in practice, with a normal +1 bonus: a +3 dynamic == perfect: a +2 dynamic == a 1/6th chance of 'neutral success', perfect success otherwise; and a +1 dynamic == 1/6 Overshot, 1/6 neutral, and 4/6 success of some description. Only one of these is really 'balanced' as a mechanic))

I have the feeling we've had this exact discussion before, so I'll spoiler it to make it easier to ignore.

Really, this isn't that unbalanced.  If you're trying to do something multiple times, and just want the maximum number of fives, it's inefficient to ever charge above one.  If you're in combat, then you only get one good strike, and you can be shot at plenty in the intervening time.  Unless you're in some weird fight where you can take a breather for five minutes every time you fire a shot.

And it makes sense that someone can get a guaranteed five.  I mean, surgeons in real life don't cut off limbs in a third of the operations they do.  They don't even cut off limbs one sixth of the time!  But in ER, if you're a doctor, you need to buy a techno-magic device which costs as much as a battlesuit to make sure you don't chop large portions of your friends off when you try to bandage their papercut.

And yes, our current workaround for this is just giving certain people the ability to do stuff without needing to roll.  Which one is more unbalanced- having two sets of doctors, one of which never messes up to any degree when fixing people, and another which can barely ever do the job right?  Or having one large group with a variety of skill levels, any of whom can do the job right if they have enough time to prepare, but break down to different extents when they're rushed?

It makes sense in other places, too.  A sniper spends a lot of time preparing for a single accurate shot, but with the current system it's only a little bit more likely to succeed than a shot he took from the hip while running.  A good chef might spend hours in the kitchen making a meal, but his food isn't spiked with acid a sixth of the time- and it isn't just because he threw out the previous three tries which were.  A pokemon trainer never cooks his pet for dinner by accident when he tries to use the power of friendship.  A mechanic barely ever breaks the car he's fixing more than it was originally broke.  Need I go on?

I don't think the ability to guarantee a success is bad.  I do think it's too easy though.  Instead of limiting the maximum bonus, we should go back to the original method:
1. You have to know what you're prepping for.  No charging a generic medical bonus that can be used for a papercut or a broken shin.
2.You have to actually spend a turn specifically preparing.  No wandering around exploring and talking while also figuring out how to program an exoskeleton automation system.  Certainly not while running in terror from a massive fleshhorror.

And if it is still somehow OP... maybe PW should just do a better job.  You shouldn't have enough time in a combat zone to repeatedly charge guaranteed fives, unless you're a sniper or something.  And charging a bonus is effectively wasting a turn- if players are doing that a lot without penalty, it's because the GM is failing.

If not, I recommend it. I mean, not only because it's a really fun game or that I see overlap in the general ER idea of fighting overwhelming foes with exaggerated weapons and a silly tone. But because it lets you:

1. Duel wield miniguns.
2. Fly around with a jetpack cutting spaceships in half with a laser chainsaw.

If that isn't enough I don't know what is.

How exactly is this aux and not handiwork? I thought that aux was for operating stuff and handiwork was for repairing stuff.
I'm not complaining, the roll would've turned out the same either way. Just a bit confused.

AUX is also used for normal repairs where you have all the correct parts and tools.  Handiwork is only used for mcgyver type stuff where you're just making do with what you got.

That said, this does seem more like a handiwork thing.  Unless standard repairs for robobodies use duct tape.
