Okay, looks like it is going to be out on the PS3, the one system I have that can run it since my computer isn't too good...and it's coming out on that on November 18.  Here's to waiting another month and a half or so.

35GB...and my internet is slow as hell...the countdown is literally saying it wont be done til the end of tomorrow...luckily I work all day today and have stuff to keep busy with tomorrow

I saw the requirements of the hard drive size and I expected a smaller download...this is like 1 giant uncompressed download lol

TotalBiscuit played through the PC version a bit, so check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBPmkfu_zs8

Not a game I'm going to buy, but if you haven't bought it yet, this may help you make up your mind.

35 gigabyte download?!

Thirty fucking five.

Welp, I won't be able to play it until tomorrow probably when i get my new GPU (Protip, if you must RMA and you have the extra money, just RMA for refund and buy a new one.  get it faster.) so it's not too bad.  Remember the Titanfall download?

10 more gigs for HD texture pack [aka the textures that should've been default but.. previous gen plebians], I'll probably be playing sometime tomorrow. Hopefully.

Installation itself is pretty speedy oddly, heh.

Just watched a lot of the Total Biscuit review whilst eating, and it took him a long time to say, but the biggest flaw is that it's just so samey apparently. It's like 20+ hours of just killing orcs. And while there are some small deviations, it seems to all hinge on how much you love Batman: Arkham Asylum/City fighting.

Apparently the story/writing/voicing is good though, and the nemesis system does look quite interesting. It certainly doesn't look bad though, and is definitely on my steam sale list.

With enough work and polish, it could have been a forgettable flash game on Kongregate.

Saw TB play it and yeah. It seems ok, but it has many of the flaws I was afraid of. Will wait for the combo of complete edition + steam sale before picking it up.

I strongly dislike Assassins Creed & the Arkham games. Some other reasons, but mainly the fact that this game doesn't interest me in the slightest. :P

Looks interesting...  but, TotalBiscuit is probably right on the nail, samey combat may get a little old for me and another review I read on ArsTechnica, the orc captain stuff probably doesn't really impact much in the game.

It seems like the kind of thing you've gotta make your own fun with and I'm very capable of that.  It's downloading, but we'll have to see if I can even play it with this GPU

I too am a little puzzled why people are taken with this game.

Other than the obvious, I mean:

-In the best tradition of Star Killer, you work for the bad guys.
-Middle Earth!
-Dual Wielding!

And....what else? I watched some videos but it was just a bunch of clips of finishers, basically. I'm sure it's a jolly good game, and I'm not throwing any stones because I play the Assassin's Creed games. I'm just not seeing the critical factor that makes this more than a 3rd person sword murder simulator.
