You'll have to settle for IC Nazi-elvery, as I don't have any such mods downloaded, and frankly I can't imagine that anyone would be sympathetic enough towards the Thalmor to actually MAKE such a mod.
After a few hits, the lock breaks. They just don't make em like they used to.
Had to outrun Todd after that, he blocked the entrance pretty well, but I eventually outmaneuvered him.
When I got outside well...three more of those bastard atronachs were waiting, just in case. Those Nords REALLY don't like High Elves. And I really don't like them.
Luckily, the local wildlife stepped in, looks like they have no love of giant frost golems on their turf.
After wandering around in the cold for awhile, I found that the local horker population is having good luck against their wolven predators.
More pelts for me. I grab all I can and fashion them into a nice warm fur coat. I use the rags I started with to make a nice cloak to help keep some of the cold out.
Nords didn't bet on me having experience as a tailor I reckon, but when your life consists of going from tavern to tavern, getting drunk and punching people...well you have to make money somewhere. Guess I chose right.
Heading south, I follow the ice floes, avoiding horkers, or worse the damned frigid waters. I come upon some torches stuck in a mountain with a door. The torches seem to be magic though, light but no heat.
Going inside I meet an...interesting fellow. That's what they like to call em down in summerset. Mostly the people I hang around call em crazies though.
Bastard didn't even stock any fires except for a few candles, and theres no damned heat in those! So I nicked his wine. A girl gets thirsty when she's cold y'see.
So heading up the coast I kill another wolf or two and make some nice gloves and boots, before I see something interesting off in the distance. Looks like a wreck, but more importantly, there's fire. I'm pretty sure I can't last all that long as it is, fur clothes be damned! So my course is set, time to follow it.
It takes some doing...but I made it, I'm damn near ready to drop, but the wreck is right in front of me.
That's when I see him. A big bastard with a look on his face I've only seen in bandits. So I guess its a fight then.
A girls gotta keep her secrets, but I'll just tell you that I've picked up some nice hand to hand moves over the years of brawling. He went down like a whimpering kitten, and when I nicked his mace I beat the next idiot to death with it. Then I got myself over to that fire.
Nice relaxing fire, it takes awhile, but I feel alive again...which is when the thirst and hunger hits. So I eat the potatoes I picked up in a barrel, and drink some of the madmans wine.
Note to self: Saltwater tastes terrible and only makes you more thirsty, don't drink from the sea again. But I do collect some in the wine bottles, then boil it till I have some salt for cooking. Salmon Steaks coming right up!
Looking around I find a way to get up top of the wreck. Vantage points and all that. Turns out there was another one hiding out up there, the leader by the look of er. She took some hard blows, but I put her down with the sword I looted from her companion. Then I slept in her bedroll. Hope its not diseased or anything.
So after a good nights sleep I go back to the fire to get warm, then drink the rest of weirdos wine and some wolf meat. I couldn't get it to cook right, so I ate it mostly raw. Turns out Witbane is what I get for that act of desperation. So afterwards I hang around and collect every bit of deadwood that I can find scattered up and down the coast, its not great for starting a fire, but it'll work. Get some torches too, those'll be handy for sure.
Setting off further east I find a cave. I wonder what I'll find inside?[/I]
That's our stopping point for today, because I need sleep in real life. See you next time on Stupidly Survivalist Skyrim!
