You help 0031 to his feet. He's still a bit dizzy so you leave him to regain his senses.

You open the door to the hallway again. The turret is still where you left it, and it still has you on hold. You glance in either direction.

The corridor is about 20 meters long, made of some neat, shiny, egg white alloy. If you were to turn left your journey would quickly be ended by a solid wall, though in the other direction there is a door, much like the one that leads to the closet, made from the same clean white alloy as the corridor. There is one other doorway, immediately across from you. This one however is painted an intimidating shade of black, with a blood red vertical stripe running down it, slightly off center, about 10 centimeters wide. There are no other markings or indicators anywhere to be seen in the corridor.

You go back into the closet. Again, the only things inside the room are the bucket, now lying overturned on the ground, the slightly deformed cardboard box, with a fresh tear in the side about the size of a boot, the scattered foodstuffs from the rations and the empty metal tins themselves, and the TV monitor, currently lying facedown on the ground. 0031 is standing in the corner, still recovering from his fall. The only things the two of you have with you are your plastic coated playing cards. You're both wearing your black beam-proof vests over your dull grey S-4 Guard uniforms.

You pick up the TV and walk into the hallway, the power cord only just long enough to reach it, then aim the screen at the turret. The music cuts out and the turret pauses for a moment.

Identifying.... Identified as: Secure Containment Chamber Number 0534, S-4 Guards 0030-0031 assigned as surveillance operatives. Status.... Status is: secure.

You flip the TV around so the picture is facing you.

The door to Secure Containment is closed.

0031 pops up, carrying the bucket. Hey watcha lookin at dude? You waggle your fingers at the screen. Its fricken closed dude I don't even- 0031 awkwardly shoves the bucket into your arms. Hey maybe the camera's broken huh? We should close it ourselves. Maybe Cafeteria will give us extra rations if we catch that thing that was in there. 0031 licks his lips and starts purposefully striding down the hallway. He stops when he reaches the blank wall. He looks up at it and scratches his head. Hey which way was the teleport again?
