um... I tried latest studded with patches, and no issue with phoebus on a new world... okay...

I think maybe the issue might have been changing tilesets. I think I started w MW tileset and changed to Phoebus and that's where the issue might have occurred.

btw, the grass was looking like the puke green one in this post http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=133174.msg4868199#msg4868199

You cant change tilesets in a running save. ^^

I've noticed all the races are permitted a MATERIALS_DEFAULT reaction now, but I can't find that reaction anywhere in the reaction_* files. Is that intentional?

Oops! Do ignore that. It's in one of splinterz' changes in SWP, not in the 4g files. :)

Sweet! Then I can report a bug! All the entities have 'PERMITTED_REACTION:MATERIALS_DEFAULT' (MATERIALS with an 'S'), but reaction_masterwork.txt has MATERIAL_DEFAULT without an 'S'. :)

... although since the reaction is empty, I'm guessing it doesn't make much of a difference for now. :)

I think this is the point at that splinterz is finally going to kill me.

I wrote the raws, and while we talked about it, I send him an example with MATERIALS_, then I wrote the actual stuff with MATERIAL. (No S). Then he added it to the GUI, I tested, couldnt find the tag, fixed it in the entity files, told him not to worry about it. I then proceeded to forget to add the S to the reaction files, because neither GUI nor df-errorlog showed any error messages.

Well. Turns out the reactions look for MATERIALS_Weak/Normal/Strong, while the reactions are MATERIAL_Weak/Normal/Strong. Which means that the settings do nothing atm.  :-[

Fix is simple: Adding the missing 'S' to the reaction id in the reaction_masterwork.txt. Nice bug-spotting, that one would have taken ages to find, because its one letter, no bugreports, and cant be seen ingame directly.
