Aw, no character creation.

I'll take the gargoyle barbarian and his beaten-up friend Bill.
I know it's a polearm, but imagining him smacking people with a guy named Bill is a lot funnier.

Question: can we write backstory for the characters, or are they Exactly What it Says on the Tin?
If we can, then I'll take the Cleric of the Storm God.

I'll take the sea-elf wizard.

Nah. Best start with a straightfowardish melee charactar. Gimee the fawn swashbuckler.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.
Morpheus, a magic girls game

Aw, no character creation.
GURPS being what it is, I thought it might be easier to just provide a stable of heroes. That said, you get a lot more choice over how your character develops. After the match, each character is awarded Character Points which you can spend on skills, advantages and such.

Question: can we write backstory for the characters, or are they Exactly What it Says on the Tin?
Go nuts. What you write might also influence what you can buy with your Character Points and have effects in later matches (NPCs etc.).

Also, I fumbled my reading check. Anyone who appears to have a greathelm in their picture actually has a pot helm.

E: Three more characters and we can begin. I'm sending out character sheets now.

Fair.
...If, hypothetically speaking, In had a lot of time and wanted to design my own character, how many points and what kind of constraints would the character be under? Character sent. If I really cared, it wouldn't be that hard to find and total up--actually, that would be a pain.

Each character is based on 250 points. They're all templates from Dungeon Fantasy. After the match you can trade in your current character for a custom one but you won't have the Character Points you earned.

I choose the Wee Man!
I'm assuming you mean the wee leprechaun lass?

Yes. They're sort of gender-neutral when viewed from the top.
