I am the crowd control heavy with the Multi-Las. Elfeater is a standard Vniediken Melta troop. Harbinger is your general soldier, also with a melta, for obvious reasons. Cheesecake is the priest. Powder Miner is the medic. Caellath is the Commissar. Rolepgeek is the sergeant. Spinal Tap is the Tech-priest.

EDIT: Those might not all be people who join the second game.

Depending on what we do, I may want to remake as Ratling or Operator.

Eh, I originally considered a Ratling, as I want to maximize my accuracy and pick up a Long Las or other form of sniper rifle later on, but I didn't want to be a hobbit . There's a Sniper specialty, but it's not available at first level.

Spinal Tap was the techpriest, although I haven't really been assuming he'd be back in the group since he wasn't apart of the discussions we had about restarting the game in the last thread. But yes, techpriests are also the tech-guys of the group. If anyone needs PDF's of the rulebook, just message me and I'll get you a copy. Hell, just look through your inbox and chances are you'll find a message from me with links that are still working.

So, originally I had the question as to whether or not people would want to do IRC or play-by-post. However, I doubt IRC is going to happen at this point and I'd rather just get started using play-by-post. But here comes another question, what kind of tone/pace are you guys looking for? I traditionally do slower paced games that are more serious in nature, but I realize that's probably really fucking boring. Especially if you have to wait a day or two for an update. Honestly, I'm just thinking about starting off with a relatively fast pace with plenty of action, and eventually delving into some of the stuff I want to when you guys have actually had a chance to do more than just walk around and talk for a few days.
