Karl finishes tightening the straps of his shield. "Or at least let the heavily armored paladin go ahead first. However, we do need to retrieve that ring."

"Perhaps you'd be willing to listen to me next time? Leave the paranoid, frightened, well-prepared defenders alone?"

Weston made no move to go up the stairs yet, merely crossed his arms and glared at the party.

Delay action until after the next PC action.

You delay your turn until ((as chance has it)) until the armored paladin goes first!

Mercenary3 attacks Alexander by swinging his halberd as hard as he can! He misses!

Karl begins his turn!

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.

Standard: Charge M1 with Glorious Charge
Free: Activate Battleforged Heavy Shield, targeting Alexander (I believe the Charge grants actual healing, not temporary HP)

"Well, time to help out the range before he's split in half." Karl remarks to Weston, managing to build speed up the stairs, despite the bulk of his plate, shield held firmly in front of him. By the time he reaches the top, he's moving at a full sprint, his sword ready to strike. "For the Raven Queen!"

((I think Indestructable - Disturbed works moreso. Fights under the raven queens name and almost unkillable? Yep

Posting as soon as I can))

You run up the stairs and get closer to the enemy and charge! () Your blade cuts deep into his flesh, blood splattering all over Mercenary2. You deal (8+8+4+3) damage! Alexander heals with the help of your shield, giving him (10)hp! Alexander is no longer bloodied!

Weston begins his turn!

Move up the stairs to within 10 squares of M2!
Fire Explosive Pyre at M2!

((Shouldn't Alexander heal 4 from the Charge plus the value of his surge? Or does he only surge for 6hp?))

((So, um, I'm back? Looks like I didn't miss too much though.

Also, I need to keep remembering Symon's background. He has an encounter power that can heal people. They have to be hurt first, but eh... Better than nothing.))

((I thought it was half level (rounding up) plus widsom modifier (+3)? Its what it says here. And surge is 10, his bloodied is 21

I'll send you a PDF of Symon's character sheet via Email or something. Welcome back good sir.))

((Granted, but I thought it was healing from the charge + extra healing from a surge, for a total of 14.))

Move up the stairs to within 10 squares of M2!
Fire Explosive Pyre at M2!

You stand at the very top of the staircase! You fire an explosive pyre at Mercenary2! (CRIT) the pyre explodes as quick as lightning on his chest, and flames burst everywhere! You deal (8+8+7+3) damage! He falls prone and is knocked into Mercenary8, pushing them away from Alexander! Alexander gets an opportunity attack! (2+10) You miss! Mercenary2 is on his last legs!

Mercenary6 attacks Alexander with his crossbow! He hits, dealing (10) damage!

Mercenary9 attacks Alexander as well with his crossbow! He misses!

Mercenary2 delays his turn!

Mercenary4 moves in and attacks Alexander! He CRITS dealing (17) dmage! Alexander drops to -2 and drops unconcious!

Mercenary2 stands up and runs into the other room!

Symon begins his turn!

Minor Action: Oath of Enmity Mercenary 3.
Major Action: Charge Mercenary 3 is possible. Otherwise move into swinging range.

((M6 took damage from the pyre. So did M4 and M2. They all either started or ended their turns in the Pyre's effect, and so will M1, M3, and M5. C'mon highmax, you gotta remember and mention these things :X
That's the whole reason I took this spell.))

((I keep mistaking the spell for something else. M6, M4 take 3 and 4 damage respectively, but M2 dies instead of running into the room. You can blame Cromwell for making me mistake it for Witchfire))

Move Action: Go up the stairs and move as far south as possible.
Minor Action: Oath of Enmity Mercenary 3.
Major Action: Charge Mercenary 3 is possible. Otherwise move into swinging range.

Symon's soulless blue eyes shatter and he lets out a warcry as he charges down the hall, shouting his oath to Bahamut as he brings down his flail on Mercenary3! (3+1) your eyes are still adjusting from the possession and your flail comes short!

Mercenary5 fires his crossbow at Symon after taking (1) damage! He hits, dealing (6) damage! After the incident with Aurel's bite and how painful that was, anything that normally would hurt you now seems to only sting you.

Nadarr begins his turn!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

((If you drop another sleep spell that ends the encounter, I swear to god, I will limit your extended rests so you don't get to do that all the time))
